How to reach us, and when.
You can reach us by phone or by the form above, whichever you prefer. Phone is fastest if your question is time-sensitive or your system is down; the form is easier if you want to describe something in detail or you are getting in touch after hours. Either way a real local person answers, usually the same day, and often within a couple of hours during the week. We are not a national chain routing you through a call center, and we are not a lead broker who sells your information to three other companies. When you contact Sarasota Mini Splits, you are talking to the people who actually do the work in Sarasota and Manatee County.
What to expectWhat happens after you send a message.
We read every message a person sends, and we reply like one. If your question has a quick answer, you will get it. If it is really a project in disguise, we will say so and point you to the free quote path, since a firm price needs an in-home measurement rather than a guess by email. If it is a repair, we will ask a couple of diagnostic questions so we arrive with the right parts. We will never bury you in follow-up calls or add you to a marketing list you did not ask for. One honest exchange is the goal.
Ask us anythingQuestions we are happy to answer.
Plenty of people reach out before they are anywhere near ready to buy, and that is exactly what this page is for. Homeowners ask whether ductless makes sense for a specific room, how a mini-split compares to the window units or central system they have now, whether their electrical panel can handle a new system, what maintenance a system really needs on the salt-air coast, or whether we can repair a brand another company installed and abandoned. We answer all of it, plainly, with no obligation. If you want to read up first, the FAQ covers the questions we hear most, the services page explains what design, installation, repair, and maintenance each involve, and the pricing page is honest about what drives cost. But if you would rather just ask a human, that is what we are here for.
By phoneThe questions we hear most, and short answers.
Some questions come up so often that it is worth answering them right here, though we are always glad to talk it through in person. Do you work on brands you did not install? Yes, we repair and service all makes and models of ductless systems regardless of who put them in. Can a mini-split really heat as well as cool? Yes; they are heat pumps, and on the handful of genuinely cold mornings the Gulf coast gets each winter, a properly specified system keeps a Florida home comfortable without a separate heater. How disruptive is an install? Far less than people expect. There is no ductwork to tear open, most single-zone jobs are done in a day, and we protect the space and clean up after ourselves. Do the outdoor units hold up to storms and salt? With the right equipment choice, placement, and surge protection, yes, and near the water we recommend coated coils and a maintenance rinse to make them last. How often does a system need service? Once or twice a year on the coast keeps efficiency high and the warranty intact. If your question is not here, the FAQ goes deeper, and you can always just ask us directly.
If it is a repairWhat to tell us so we arrive ready.
If your existing mini-split is acting up, a few details in your message help us bring the right parts and skip a wasted trip. Tell us the brand if you know it, roughly how old the system is, and exactly what it is doing: not cooling at all, cooling weakly, dripping water inside, forming ice on the indoor unit, making a new noise, or flashing an error code. If there is a code on the display or blinking on the indoor unit, note it; those codes point straight at the fault. Let us know whether the outdoor unit is running, and whether the problem is one head or the whole system. A surge after a summer storm, a clogged condensate drain, a dirty coil, and a failed capacitor all look like "it stopped working" from the living room but are very different fixes. The more you can tell us, the faster and cheaper the repair tends to be.
Still comparingFor homeowners weighing their options.
Plenty of the people who contact us are not ready to buy anything, and that is genuinely fine. You might be deciding between ductless and extending your central system, comparing us against another quote you already have, or just trying to understand whether the sizing on a proposal you received makes sense. We are happy to be a second opinion. If another company quoted you a system, tell us the model numbers and the zone layout and we will tell you honestly whether it looks right-sized for your home or oversold, because an oversized system is the single most common mistake we see on the coast, and it is the one that leaves a house cold and clammy. There is no charge for a straight answer, and no obligation to use us. If you want to read first, the pricing page explains what actually drives cost and the about page explains how we work and why ductless is the only thing we do.
TimingHours, response times, and urgent calls.
For routine questions and quote requests, the form and the phone both reach us, and we typically respond the same business day. In the peak of summer, when everyone on the Gulf coast is running their systems hard, call volume climbs and a repair may be scheduled for the next available window rather than same-day; we will always be straight with you about when we can realistically be there rather than promising a time we cannot keep. If your system is completely down in the worst of the heat, say so in your message or on the phone and we will do what we can to move you up. We serve full-time residents and seasonal homeowners alike, and for snowbird properties we are used to coordinating access and reporting back to owners who are out of state.
Real peopleWho you are actually reaching.
When you contact us, you are not filling a slot in a national dispatch queue and you are not becoming a lead to be sold. You are reaching a local, ductless-focused crew that works these two counties and lives here too. That matters more than it sounds, because it shapes every answer you get: we have no incentive to oversell you a system you do not need, and every reason to give you honest guidance, since the business runs on neighbors referring neighbors. If we are the right fit for your project, we will tell you and show you a fair price. If we are not, we will say that too, and point you in a better direction. Either way you get a straight answer from someone who will still be here next season. You can learn more about how we work on the about page, see exactly what we do on the services page, and when you are ready for a number, the free quote is the fastest path.
Where we workLocal to Sarasota and Manatee County.
We serve the two counties from the barrier islands to the inland communities, including Sarasota, Bradenton, Venice, Lakewood Ranch, Siesta Key, and many more. Each community has its own page describing the homes and conditions we see there, and you can browse them all on our service-area page. If you are not sure whether you are in our range, just ask; we will tell you honestly. And when you are ready to move from a question to a price, the free quote is always the faster path to a real number.
Whatever brings you to this page, we would rather have a useful conversation than a fast one. If you have a mini-split emergency in the heat of summer, tell us and we will do what we can to prioritize you. If you are planning months ahead for a renovation or an addition, we are happy to talk through the options early so the ductless work is designed in rather than bolted on later. And if you simply want a second opinion on a system or a quote, that is a good reason to reach out on its own. However you get in touch, you will hear back from a real local person, usually the same day, with a straight answer and no obligation.
